The island of Vis ~ familiar, yet unknown, still not exploited enough tourism-wise, so undiscovered, and yet so magical due to the very same reasons. Heavenly beaches which take your breath away, stone houses, majestic views, blue-turquoise-green sea with the emphasis on “laid-back” life, Vis is an ideal getaway from the turbulent everyday life. With its diversity, it can definitely meet different appetites of passionate adventu(o)rists…

If you disconnect your mind here, your soul will speak to you, the whisper of waves will become louder, the sea scent more intense, and the love for the island will grow.
We definitely recommend Vis to passionate cyclists who will have the opportunity to see the island from the most hidden corners and bays, to explore the unexplored, and at the same time have the chance to get refreshments on one of the most beautiful beaches in the Adriatic, and even the world. Just grab a map and head down the upper or lower road towards the Queen’s Cave, Tito’s Cave, Hum, Krusovica, Vela Gomilica, and do not forget to see the Stiniva cove. Only the bravest will decide to descend there, but it is definitely worth of every sweat drop. This cove can also be visited from the seaside, and the excursion can be booked at various tourist points in Vis or Komiza.

The Blue Cave ~ yet another natural karst formation on the island of Bisevo, which has been amazing numerous tourist from all over the world owing to its specific light effect caused by refracting and reflecting sunrays from the sea bottom with it specific blue color. The cave can be reached in only 30 minutes by boat from Komiza, so do not miss this geomorphological phenomenon under any circumstances.

Whether you visit a luxurious restaurant, one of the numerous traditional taverns or a rural household, you will be welcomed by a pleasant atmosphere, aromas of local specialties and rich offer of light Mediterranean dishes with fresh fish and seasonal groceries.
Although quite isolated, and dependent on fairly an expensive ferry, this island will definitely meet all your expectations, and we are sure you will return again…
